NYC Skyline Patchwork

Patch Work,

This is a unique example of Patchwork art, which displays famous New York City landmarks against a night sky. This wall hanging shows the Statue of Liberty, the George Washington Bridge, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, and so on, and transports the viewer to the famed city. In keeping with the technique of Patchwork, the different pieces of blue-hued embroidered cloth are joined together to form this vista. Every joint is highlighted by the use of a coarse yarn, which also performs the function of hiding the stitches.
