This exemplary vase, made in the traditional furnaces of Firozabad, arose out of the beautiful combination of soda ash and silica fusing together at high temperatures. Shades of mint green lend colour to the cracked glass in a lovely display of art; its mosaic-shaped pattern of cracked glass has been realised through the presence of Plaster of Paris.

    The glass is produced either by melting the glass itself (which constitutes a major part of the raw material as at least half of the production goes as scrap) or putting raw material Soda Ash and Silica Sand {Silica Oxide) in the Regenerative Furnace.
