    A section of clay is taken and banged on the table in continuous motions and smoothened into a shape of a ball which is ready to you.If it is hand sculpted, then the clay is further spread into a flat surface and shaped as per the design.In case its put on the potter?s wheel, the ball of clay is set on the wheel and hand sculpted while the wheel moves.
